La Vie sur Base - Baignade en mode David Hasseloff // Life on Base - Bathing in a David Hasseloff way
Monday, the 2nd of February 2009 A great blue sky dominates the base by the beginning of this afternoon, as an oily sea spreads under its feet. It is the ideal climate to organize a bathing at the Cale. The recently discoloured hair left free in the wind, I go down with Séverine, as we are quickly joined by Yoann, who helps me installing the scale. Gobichon, Sébastien, Olivier and Hélène join us few times later. The pups having recently plunged in the great bath, the water of the neighboorhood is populated by a huge quantity of young progressively becoming hardened to the marine life, for our greatest happiness. Curious, they come close, and eclipse themselves in a lively movement of their flippers. Sometimes, they jump on my stomach, my back, or my head. The water is clear and makes the bathing even more wonderful. We alternatively stay in the water for almost 2 hours, before stopping the swimming.
