At the first and already last but one day of the OP, I went to Entrecasteaux with helicopter to restock the hut with water. Early leaving from the logistic DZ after having loaded the water on the backside of the helicopter. Pierre and I take place with them, the pilot and his mechanic being both on flight.

The windy waves from the west intensify as we reach the coast, and alternativly shake the small metallic shell which takes us further than the Pearl’s cliffs until the Mount of the Fernand. Suddenly, the wall curves and lets in the backside surge the cathedral, announcing the soon arrival on Entrecasteaux.

The helicopter quickly leaves from the floor. Fleeting view on the base, the Marion-Dufresne in the backside over the ocean. Then we escape to the west, in the direction of Pointe Bénédicte that we quickly leave on our right, followed by the cliffs of the Pearl. The low cloud level obliges us to fly around the island, following the cliffs.

In the cove of the cathedral, the wind gobbles and shakes the helicopter which landing is very careful. Once landed, we quickly deposit all the necessary material for restocking the hut.

We once again leave the floor, shaked as ever. The pilot starts a great curve pointing its nose on Del Cano before changing of direction, giving us an amazing view on the Entrecasteaux cliffs, and on the Cathedral.

We use the same itinerary for going back, before landing on the passengers DZ. Meanwhile, the pilot offered us a last great sensation by taking a sharp curve above the Marion before going straight to the ground!!
