Suite de l’article « Nouvel An à Del Cano »… partie 4.

La pluie tombe derechef. Nous nous abritons alors pour un petit apéritif foie gras et champagne, suivi d’une fondue savoyarde accompagnée de viande de bœuf fumé. Ambiance calfeutrée, nous apprécions à sa juste valeur cet intense moment de calme et de sérénité, ici, au bout du bout du monde. Vient ensuite l’heure de dormir pour récupérer de cette dure journée de marche et de gastronomie. Séverine va dormir à la belle-étoile, la pluie s’étant arrêtée entre temps, alors que Yoann, Gabriel et moi restons à l’abri, sous la caisse en bois.

Following of the article “New Year’s Day in Del Cano”… part 4.

Rain is falling again. We shelter under the hut for a small aperitif with “foie gras” and champagne, followed by a cheese fondue accompanied by smoked beef meat. Draught-proof atmosphere, we appreciate at its exact value this intense time of calm and serenity, there, at the very far side of the far side of the world. Time for sleeping comes later, in order to rest from this hard day of walking and eating. Séverine will sleep outside, rain having stopped, as Yoann, Gabriel and I stay inside, under the wooden box.
